Jude Bellingham will not have to undergo surgery on a shoulder injury that has caused problems over the past season, a report says.

    Bellingham sustained a shoulder injury in November after a collision with an opponent during his team's 0-0 draw against Rayo Vallecano. He has played with a pad on his shoulder since then to prevent further injuries.

    The England international was originally expected to undergo surgery after the European Championship with the Three Lions, as was fellow Madrid player Brahim Diaz, who is also struggling with a shoulder issue, but reports that neither player will go under the knife this summer.

    Belingham has maintained that awesome form with England at Euro 2024, having scored the decisive goal in their 1-0 win against Serbia before firing in the last-minute equaliser to send them on their way to a 2-1 win against Slovakia in the last 16. He will hope to play a decisive role again when they meet Switzerland in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
